Banana milkshake comprises mashed ripe bananas mixed with sugar, nuts and cardamom powder. Ripe, sweet bananas are peeled and mashed to release their natural flavor and smooth texture and cold milk is added to create a creamy base. Sugar is mixed in to balance the natural sweetness of the fruit, while a pinch of cardamom powder adds a subtle aromatic warmth.
Mash 2 pieces of ripe bananas with a fork in a bowl. Add 2 tsp of sugar, 1 pinch of cardamom powder, ½ tsp of chopped almonds and cashew nuts followed by 1 cup of milk.
Mix nicely and pour it in a glass.
Your healthy and tasty homemade banana milkshake is ready. Garnish with chopped almonds and cashew nuts to enjoy.
I have used regular milk in the recipe. You can make it dairy free with coconut or oat milk.Make sure there are no lumps of banana for a smooth texture of the banana milkshake.Though I have not used them, you may add crushed ice to make it more refreshing. You may also blend all ingredients in a mixie jar for a smoother texture.
