Rose lassi is a chilled, frothy yogurt drink flavored with rose syrup and cardamom — I make it every summer, and it never lasts more than five minutes in my kitchen.
Blend 1 cup of curd, 2 tbsp of water, 4 pieces of ice cubes, 1 piece of green cardamom (seeds only), 3 tbsp of rose syrup and ½ tsp of sugar powder nicely in a blender. (Pro tip: You may add chilled milk instead of water for a richer texture).
Pour it into a tall glass from a height.
Garnish it with some chopped dry fruits and 1 tsp of rose syrup.
Adding cardamom seeds enhances the taste. You may add about ¼ tsp of cardamom powder instead of the seeds for a richer flavor. You may also garnish it with fresh or dried rose petals for additional visual appeal.I have added only chopped cashew nuts in the lassi. You can add chopped almonds, pistachios and others as well.
