In three different bowls, take 3 to 4 bread slices and cut them into small pieces in one, pour ½ a cup of milk in another, and crack three pieces of eggs in the third container. Now, pour the entire milk in the bowl containing the eggs. Mix them nicely.
Now, add ¼ tsp of red chili flakes, ½ tsp of turmeric powder, ½ tsp of cumin powder, ¼ tsp of black pepper powder, and salt to taste. Mix them well and keep it aside to set.
Take a pan and heat an adequate amount of cooking oil on a low flame.
Take a ½ a cup of bread crumbs in a bowl.
Now, gently take the bread pieces one by one and put it in the bowl of the egg mixture. Ensure it has soaked the egg mixture and has become soft.
Now put the coated bread piece into the bowl of bread crumbs. Coat it nicely on all sides. Keep each of the coated pieces aside on a plate to set properly. (Pro tip: Be very careful at this stage while transferring the bread pieces as they will be exceptionally soft after being soaked in the egg mixture).
Put each of the coated bread pieces gently in the hot oil one by one. Fry them on a low flame. Flip gently with a small spoon when one side of the bread nuggets is fried nicely.
Remove them when golden brown.
Your bread nuggets are now ready. Arrange them on a plate and serve the nuggets hot along with a bowl of tomato ketchup and a broken piece of fresh green chili and a strand of fresh coriander leaves for added visual appeal.
