Take a frying pan and heat it on your gas stove. Now, put 2 tbsp coriander seeds, 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 1 tbsp fennel seeds, 1 tbsp white sesame, 20 black peppercorns, 2 cloves, 1 star anise, and 4 small cinnamon sticks to dry roast them.
Stir the spices until the color changes slightly.
Now, add 2 tbsp desiccated coconut to it.
Stir the content for about 2 minutes until the color of the coconut changes.
Turn the flame off and let the spice cool at room temperature.
When it is cool enough, transfer the spice into your mixer grinder.
Now add 1 tsp amchur or dried mango powder.
Then add 1 tsp black salt.
Now add, 1 tsp table salt.
Add 2 tbsp of Kashmiri red chili powder to it as well.
Finally, add 2 tsp sugar.
Now, grind the ingredients nicely. Your dabeli masala powder is ready.
