Take a tawa. Heat it. Put ½ tsp of oil. Spread it. Make one egg poach.
Put a pinch of salt and black pepper. Fry it for about a minute.
Flip it to fry it on both sides. Transfer it to a plate and keep it aside. (Pro tip: I like it fried on both sides. However, you may skip it if you want).
Take 2 slices of sandwich bread. Apply about 1 tsp mayonnaise on each slice.
Now, take a plate and cut a few slices of onion, fresh cucumber, and tomato. Make circular pieces of all.
Put four tomato slices on one slice of bread. Then put the poached egg over them.
Arrange the cucumber slices next.
Put a few slices of onion. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and black pepper powder on it.
Place the other bread slice on top of it. Apply ½ tsp of butter on both sides.
Put the sandwich on the same tawa. You can, however, take a different one if you want. Press it and fry it on a medium flame for about a minute.
Flip it carefully.
Remove it when the color on both sides of the sandwich turns to lovely golden brown.
Your homemade poached egg sandwich is now ready to serve. Cut it diagonally and serve it hot.
