Take 8 to 10 regular pieces of prawns (or as many lollypops you want to make) wash them thoroughly, de-vein them and cut the tails as shown in the figure and keep them aside. (Pro tip: Do not discard the tails. It will be a part of the lollypops).
Now, in a mixer grinder, take 3 pieces of green chilies, a handful of fresh coriander leaves, an inch-size piece of ginger, and 10 pods of garlic without skin. Also, squeeze half a lemon into it and add 1 tbsp of water. Grind them roughly as shown.
Now, into the same mixer jar put the fleshy part of 8 to 10 prawns. Make a very smooth paste of it. (Pro tip: Do not add water to it).
Transfer the prawn paste to a bowl and crack a piece of egg and add salt to taste, the green chili and coriander paste, 1 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of crushed black pepper, and 1 tsp of chili flakes to it.
Also, add 2 tbsp of corn flour and 1 tbsp of refined wheat flour (maida), and 1 tbsp of red chili powder to it. Mix everything very nicely. It must have a thick consistency as shown. (Pro tip: Check the consistency and add more corn flour and maida if needed).
Now, take an adequate amount of bread crumbs in a bowl. (Pro tip: You can make the bread crumbs out of toast biscuits at home or use a store-bought variety).
Grease your hand with a little bit of cooking oil. Take a small amount of the mixture in your hand and flatten it. Place the prawn tail as shown. Shape it like a lollypop.
Coat it nicely with bread crumbs from all sides.
Repeat the process and complete all the lollypops. Keep them on a plate aside for some time to set properly.
Now, heat an adequate amount of cooking oil in a frying pan on a high flame. When hot, turn the flame to medium and put the prawn lollypops one by one very carefully in it. Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Flip each lollypop carefully when one side turns to golden brown in color.
Remove them when the lollypops are fried thoroughly.
Your delicious homemade prawn lollypops are ready now. Arrange them on a plate and serve them hot.
