Rose Sharbat

By Mita Mondal
Rose sharbat is usually made with rose syrup and cold water. Adding a hint of lemon gives it a subtle tangy taste and a couple of ice cubes enhance the cooling effect and refreshing feeling. Sometimes, soaked sabja seeds are also added to the drink for texture.

Notes

I have used lemon juice in the sharbat. You may skip it.
You can use rose syrup of any brand to make the drink.
I have used soaked sabja seeds to make the drink. You may skip it if you want.
Rose syrup is usually sweet and so no sugar is needed to make the drink. However, you may add if you want.
You may use more ice cubes if you want, though I have used only two in each glass of sharbat.
