Sabu Makha | Dudh Sabu

Sabu makha is made with soaked Sabu dana or Sago mixed with sugar, grated coconut, milk, Sandesh, and a variety of fruits such as apples, pomegranate, oranges, grapes, bananas, and more.

Ingredients
  

  • 100 grams Sabu dana small grain, washed, soaked
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 pieces bananas
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup coconut grated
  • 50 grams sandesh makha
  • 1 cup milk cold
  • ¼ cup green grapes roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup black grapes roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup apple roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup pomegranate
  • ¼ cup orange roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup kiwi roughly chopped
  • Rose petals a few

Instructions
 

  • Wash 100 grams of Sabu dana and soak them in 1 cup of water. Cover and set aside for an hour.
  • Mix 2 pieces of bananas, ¼ cup of sugar, ½ cup of freshly grated coconut and 50 grams of makha Sandesh.
  • Add and mix a cup of cold milk.
  • Roughly chop ¼ cup of green grapes, ¼ cup of black grapes, ¼ cup of apple, ¼ cup of orange, ¼ cup of kiwi and add to the Sabu makha along with ¼ cup of pomegranate. Mix nicely.
  • Garnish with some more chopped fruits and a few rose petals and your healthy and delicious homemade Sabu makha is ready.

Notes

I have used small grain Sabu dana but you can use larger ones.
You can add more fruit variety to the Sabu makha.
I have not added any dry fruits but you can if you want.
Adding rose petals is optional.
Always add cold milk in Sabu makha.
