I learned this recipe from a vendor of a roadside food stall in front of a mall. My sons were hungry and I ordered for this soup with buttered toasts. The smell and taste were very nice. I enquired how it is made and the vendor narrated the simple steps to me, happily.

I made it at home the next day. My husband found it soulful, and my boys said it felt simply wonderful. Now, this dish is part of our evening energy dish. That day reminded me that sharing recipes and thoughts only adds to the happiness and culinary experience.

Notes

I use fresh mushrooms always to make this soup at home. It renders the natural earthy flavor.
Though I did not use it, you can add a tablespoon of fresh cream in the end for added richness in taste.
For further taste enhancement, add a spoon of butter before serving your mushroom soup.
