When I was young, I saw my mother making this drink and giving it to me on summer afternoons. It refreshed and energized me instantly and tasted so nice and sweet. I did not know how it tasted so nice then being so young, but now I have realized that she added sugar to make it taste nice to me. However, I stick to the traditional process and make it without sugar.

Both my kids and husband love it whenever I make it in summer. I feel nice that I learned the recipe from my mother and contribute to the health of my family.
