A doctor friend suggested this soup recipe to me when my elder son was down with viral fever last year. It is very easy to make and absolutely delicious and healthy. I wrote down the ingredients and the steps in my kitchen notebook on a specific page to find it easily during emergencies.

When I first made it, I was overwhelmed at the taste and flavor of the soup. Both my sons loved it pretty much and my husband appreciated my effort to keep my sons healthy. Now it features quite often in our home, fever or not.

Notes

Always use fresh green papaya to make the soup for the authentic taste.
Use water and salt according to your need or consistency discretion.
Blend the steamed papaya only when cool or else it might affect the color.
I use oregano for a twist in the taste. You may skip it if you want.
