You can roast the spices individually or use them fresh as I have done in this recipe. It is all about personal preference.
Step 1: Take a bowl and put 6 tbsp of fennel seeds in it.
Step 2: Next, add 6 tbsp of coriander seeds to it.
Step 3: Include 1 tbsp cumin seeds to the content.
Step 4: Then add 8 pieces of black cardamom.
Step 5: Now include 1 tbsp of cloves.
Step 6: Add 5 small pieces of star anise.
Step 7: Then add 4 pieces of long pepper to it.
Step 8: Now include 1 tbsp of small cinnamon sticks.
Step 9: Add 15 pieces of green cardamom.
Step 10: Finally, add 8 pieces of bay leaves.
Step 11: Now take a grinder.
Step 12: Transfer all the spices in it.
