I learned this recipe from a cooking show I was watching on the TV one afternoon. It was so quick and easy that I fell for it and noted down the instructions and ingredients. I wanted to surprise my sons and husband when they came back from school and the office, respectively.

I found all the ingredients on hand and made the bondas just as instructed. The result was crispy and golden rava balls. My sons loved the shape and crispiness of the rava bondas while my husband appreciated it because it was a quick and healthy snack. I thought I was fortunate to have watched the TV show that afternoon and come across the recipe.

Notes

I have used fine suji in the recipe. You can use any variety.
Cook the suji on a low temperature while stirring it throughout the cooking process to prevent any clumps from forming.
The Dahi can be replaced with half a lemon's juice for those who dislike or lack the ingredient.
The oil needs to be heated at high temperature before starting to fry the bondas which should be cooked at a medium to low temperature.
